Founded by Cecilia ‘Cesa’ Edwards in 2010, Bermuda Longtail Real Estate has been servicing both local, and international clients and customers in selling, purchasing, or renting property, and understands firsthand how overwhelming the process can be.

The most urgent piece to this is having the guidance from an experienced real estate agent who not only has extensive knowledge of the ins and outs of the industry, but has been a part of the local fabric of the community. A warm personality and friendly smile doesn’t hurt either.

Cesa has been a part of the local community since she was a little girl, raised in Sandys parish, and is an alumnus of Warwick Academy School.

Against the backdrop of stunning turquoise waters are the colorful streets of Bermuda, always lined with friendly smiles and someone to say “good morning”, or “good afternoon” to. In this tight knit community, there was always someone to turn to. This had a positive impact on Cesa’s childhood, molding her into the bright and kind person she is today. Her clients always feel a sense of relief whenever she’s around.

Cesa commenced her real estate journey in 1991 as a secretary for LP Gutteridge Ltd, before working her way further up the real estate ladder as property manager, then residential rentals agent, and finally, residential sales agent at Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty Ltd. before becoming the broker/owner of Bermuda Longtail Real Estate Ltd.

Attending many international business conferences and achieving numerous local and international awards at Coldwell Banker, such as Top Rentals Agent, Top Closed Units for All Island Affiliates, and President’s Elite Award, Cesa continued to rise higher within the ranks of real estate, until 2009, when the great economic crash changed the world. Needing to rebuild and further support her family, Cesa made the decision to make a name for herself, and build her own legacy, leaving Coldwell Banker behind to venture off on her own.

The risk paid off, and Bermuda Longtail Real Estate Ltd. has been a staple in the local real estate market ever since, coming full circle in 2018, when Cesa was awarded the Best of Bermuda award for ‘Best Real Estate Agent’, a goal she has strived to achieve for many years.

Bermuda Longtail Real Estate Ltd. is a family run business, with her two sons, and husband joining her along this journey. Their belief is that the success of the business is the success of the family and further, the success of the community, so you’ll receive nothing but the utmost care when it comes to selling, purchasing, or renting property.
